I've gone hunting for MTG Final Fantasy stock, and this is where you can get it right now

If you're attempting to figure out where to buy MTG Final Fantasy, you're not the only one. This Universes Beyond set has been selling like hot cakes, and it's incredibly difficult to get certain (or any, in some cases) items.

That fervor isn't surprising. This is the first Universes Beyond release since the move to make UB sets Standard-legal, but really, that's just one of many reasons why players, collectors, fans, and resellers (boo!) are flocking to add these products to their carts. This crossover between one of the best card games and one of the most beloved video games series was bound to attract folks in droves. As a result, it's pretty darn difficult actually figure out where to buy MTG Final Fantasy. That's why the team and I have rounded up every listing we can find.

It's worth noting that some of the prices here have become wildly inflated, including the Commander decks and Collector Booster Box. If something costs an outrageous amount of money, don't bite - it's a cheeky reseller taking advantage of scarcity. Indeed, it may as well be daylight robbery.

Where to buy MTG Final Fantasy: US

Unsurprisingly, things are a little dicey as we approach MTG Final Fantasy's launch. However, that doesn't mean it's a lost cause. You can currently get the Play Booster Box for $179.99 at Miniature Market, while the bundle is sitting at $69.79 via Walmart.

Zavvi

Although it hasn't been too hot for Pokemon TCG stock, Zavvi is still knocking it out of the park where MTG Final Fantasy is concerned. To be precise, it actually has some pre-orders up for grabs! Hurry, before they're gone.

Walmart

Walmart doesn't have loads of stock right now, and some of its prices are way overblown. But a few are... actually quite decent? The bundle is a great example, and the Play Booster is less than I've seen it elsewhere.

Miniature Market

This indie retailer has never steered us wrong, and even though it's mostly out of stock, it does have the Play Booster Box available right now for a not-unreasonable price.

Amazon

Amazon doesn't have any MTG Final Fantasy stock right now, which isn't overly surprising - the retailer went hard on the set early on. Hopefully we'll see more before release day, but you'll need to watch for inflated prices.

TCG Player

Yes, the entire MTG Final Fantasy collection is available here. But because TCGPlayer sells items from users, many of them are absurdly overpriced. They're here if you need them, but honestly, I wouldn't recommend buying these listings.

Where to buy MTG Final Fantasy: UK

Things are relatively quiet in terms of MTG Final Fantasy pre-orders at major stores, but indie retailers are cleaning up in their absence. Here's everything I've found so far.

Magic Madhouse

Magic Madhouse is the best source of MTG Final Fantasy pre-orders that I've seen so far, and even though some of its prices are inflated, you'll struggle to find more variety at the moment.

Zavvi is pretty well stocked in the UK, which took me by surprise. Sure, all the Collector Commander Decks are gone, but Boosters and Starter Kits are available.

Release date for MTG Final Fantasy

While you've been able to place your MTG Final Fantasy pre-orders since February, the set isn't due to release until June 13, 2025.

That said, you'll be able to experience the set in advance of the full release by attending prerelease events. The exact date for prerelease hasn't be announced as of yet, but judging by the usual timing of these, it should be about a week before the set drops: June 6.
